Karbon’ invited to the “Architecture, Urbanism and Gender” series organized by ULB

On the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day 2026, the École Polytechnique de Bruxelles (ULB) and its research laboratories AIA, SUFI and BATir are launching a series of events dedicated to the connections between architecture, urbanism and gender.

In collaboration with WominTech and OpenLab.brussels, these three events aim to integrate issues of inclusivity and spatial justice at the heart of architectural, urban planning and educational practices.

Karbon’ Architecture has the honor of being invited to two of the three sessions, in order to contribute to the discussions and present its work in the fields of:

  • inclusive housing architecture,
  • gender mainstreaming in urbanism and planning.

Our coopérative will thus have the opportunity to share its experience, tools and methodologies for an architectural production that is attentive to uses, life trajectories, inequalities and the diversity of needs within the city.
