On the sofa next Wednesday 26/11 we welcome Karbon'— a Brussels-based cooperative where architecture is practiced collectively, thoughtfully, and with deep care for the city.

Working across housing, heritage, and urban transformation, Karbon’ brings together twenty voices under one shared practice. Through their work, they pose questions on how we can renovate, reuse, and rethink our built environment without losing its stories; how materials, communities, and histories can be carried forward rather than replaced.

From ecological renovation to housing and adaptive reuse, their projects show that architecture can be both technically grounded and socially conscious. A practice where decision-making and responsibility are shared, and the city is approached as something to be repaired, nurtured, and co-created.

Join us on the sofa for a conversation about cooperative practice, sustainable building, and what it means to design with, not just for, a community.

Everyone’s welcome to listen, ask, and exchange.
